Dr Tom Robbins has more than 30 years experience as a Plastic Surgeon and Cosmetic Surgeon.

Attaining his MBBS from the University of Melbourne in 1963, he progressed to become a junior and then senior resident at The Royal Melbourne Hospital. From there Dr Robbins continued his plastic surgical training at the South Wales Plastic Surgical Centre (1971-72) and then as a surgical registrar at the West of Scotland Plastic Surgical Unit (1972-73). Both of these posts covered all aspects of plastic surgery including paediatric plastic surgery, head and neck surgery, ophthalmic plastic surgery, hand surgery, cleft lip and palate, and cranio-facial surgery.

Since 1972, Dr Robbins has held several positions in London (England) and Melbourne (Victoria) including his appointment as Consultant Plastic Surgeon to Sandringham and District Memorial Hospital (1976), a position he retained for 18 years.
